 How to apply

1. Select your course and study options

Once you've chosen from our range of online degrees, decide:

  • when you’d like to start (you can start any day)

  • whether you want to study full or part-time.

For UK students, the total fees for our online courses will be the same – whether you choose to study full or part-time – and we offer several funding options to make learning more affordable and accessible. Find out more in our guide to tuition fees and funding.

2. Check you meet the eligibility requirements

Admission criteria vary depending on the course you select.

We strive to support students to succeed, whatever their background, and we encourage you to contact us to explore your options if you don’t meet the academic requirements.

3. Complete your degree application

Ready? Great! Simply hit ‘Apply now’ and start your online application.

Applying for a student loan? Apply now to avoid delays

If you’re planning to fund your degree with a student loan, we recommend applying for your loan at the same time as your LIBF degree application.

Why? It can take up to 6 to 8 weeks for your loan to be approved and funding to be processed. We can’t officially enrol you or allow you to start your course until your loan has been approved and verified by the Student Loans Company (SLC).

Starting both applications together can help make sure your funding is in place before your course begins. Have questions about UK student loans? See our guide to UK Student Finance.

4. Sign your study contract

After you complete and submit your online application, you’ll receive a conditional offer from us.

  • This offer is valid as long as you meet all eligibility requirements.

  • Read it through carefully, sign, and return it to accept your offer.

The admissions process: securing your place

The admissions process includes submitting documents, arranging funding, and confirming your place.

5. Upload your documents

To kick start the admissions process, you'll need to upload proof of your eligibility to study your chosen course. The documents you'll be asked to upload will vary depending on your:

  • level of study (undergraduate, foundation year or postgraduate)

  • previous academic experience

  • previous work experience

Take a look at the documents we may ask for:

Documents required for admission

If you're unsure what documents to upload, reach out to our Study Advisor team who are on hand to support you.

Studying a postgraduate or MBA degree?

At this stage, all postgraduate students will be invited to a mandatory welcome call as part of the enrolment process. It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions and get advice as you prepare to start your degree.

If you're an undergraduate student, you can also request a welcome call at any time if you'd like personalised support during the admissions process.

6. Finalise your funding

At this stage, you’ll need to confirm how you’ll be funding your studies. This includes applying for a student loan (if you haven’t already), or applying for an LIBF scholarship.

Thinking about applying for a Scholarship?

Now’s the time to apply for an LIBF scholarship if you’re eligible. Scholarships can help reduce your tuition fees and make studying more affordable.

Still need to arrange your finances? See our guides to:

Undergraduate students using a tuition fee loan

  • Apply for your loan through the Student Loans Company (SLC)
If you haven’t applied for your undergraduate tuition fee loan yet, do this as soon as possible to avoid delays. We can’t officially enrol you or allow you to start your course until your loan has been approved and verified by the Student Loans Company (SLC).

  • Upload proof of your loan application
At this stage, you’ll need to upload proof that you’ve applied for a tuition fee loan.

7. Receive confirmation of your place

Once you've uploaded your documents and we've verified your eligibility, we’ll email you to confirm:

  • your place on your chosen course

  • your start date

  • the outcome of any scholarship applications

  • what you need to do next – including paying the first instalment of your tuition fees if you're self-funding.

Undergraduate students using a tuition fee loan

If you’re an undergraduate student using a government tuition fee loan, there’s one more step to complete before you can start your course:

  • Upload proof of your loan approval from the Student Loans Company (SLC).

Once we’ve received your proof, we’ll verify your loan acceptance on the SLC portal and confirm your enrolment.

 You’re ready to start!

Once we’ve verified your documents and funding, you’ll be officially enrolled.

You’ll get your login details to myCampus on your start date. As soon as you have access, you can:

  • get to know myCampus

  • book your first call with a Study Coach

  • attend a virtual welcome event

  • start your first module

  • connect with your fellow students.

Active participation in your studies

During the first few weeks after your start date, we’ll check to confirm your active participation. This process helps ensure you’re settling into your studies and making progress in your course. Active participation includes:

  • logging into myCampus

  • registering for your first modules

  • accessing your course materials

  • engaging with your tutors or peers.

Important for students using a tuition fee loan:
Once we can confirm you're actively participating in your course, we’ll notify the Student Loans Company (SLC):

  • If you're an undergraduate student, your loan will be released directly to us.

  • If you're a postgraduate student, your loan will be released to you in instalments.

Free iPad to support your studies

If you’re based in the UK, we’ll provide you with a complimentary iPad for your studies. It will contain everything you need to get started and you can use it throughout your course. When you graduate, it will be our gift to you.

We’re sorry we can’t make this gift available to international students studying online right now.
