Autumn University 

Our Autumn University is a three day non-residential programme for students who are thinking about a career in financial services and are interested in studying the subject at university.

Why do it?

The Autumn University will give you an insight into the world of banking and finance. It will also introduce the various career paths available to you within financial services, and can help you think about whether a career in these areas is right for you. It is also an opportunity for you to experience university life in the City of London.

Who is it for?

We encourage you to apply for the Autumn University if you:

  • Will be a Year 12 or Year 13 student as of October 2016
  • Have 5 A*-C grades at GCSE (or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • Have a broad interest in finance, financial services and banking
  • Are considering applying to university

When is it?

The next Autumn University will take place on Tuesday 17 - Thursday 19 October 2017. Applications aren't open yet but you can register your interest now and we'll let you know as soon as they open.

What does it cost?

£75 per student
£50 per student currently studying the CeFS or DipFS

The course is non-residential, but refreshments and lunch are provided to students every day and the cost of materials and all excursions are covered within the course fee.

Programme

You will be introduced to the world of banking and finance through a series of exciting lectures with our expert academics as well as having the opportunity to meet and question key players from the industry, to find out what it really takes to have a successful career in this sector. Working with our academic team, you will develop your study skills while increasing your knowledge of progression routes into this fast-paced industry.
